RN Charge Nurse / Unit Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• As a charge nurse, you will oversee the patient assignments and care provided during that shift.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of care, labs, medical order etc.
• Support the nursing staff as they provide care to our complex patient population
• Assist with preceptor and admissions
• Manage family and patient escalations
• Provide nursing care to patients, collaborating with Physicians and various disciplines within the hospital in order to manage patient care
• Assisting the medical staff with in-house procedures
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families during their treatments

Requirements:

• Active RN license (GA)
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of critical care/ICU and hospital experience
• Minimum 1 year of Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Ability to assess patients quickly in emergency situations in a stressful environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
• Team, detail, and goal-oriented
• Positive, professional, and empathetic demeanor

Shifts Available:

• Day shift: 7 am - 7:30 pm
• Night shift: 7 pm - 7:30 am ( shift differentials!)
