What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Charge Nurse / Unit Supervisor position at Landmark Hospital of Savannah?

Responsibilities:
- As a charge nurse, you will oversee the patient assignments and care provided during that shift.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of care, labs, medical order etc.
- Support the nursing staff as they provide care to our complex patient population
- Assist with preceptor and admissions
- Manage family and patient escalations
- Provide nursing care to patients, collaborating with Physicians and various disciplines within the hospital in order to manage patient care
- Assisting the medical staff with in-house procedures
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families during their treatments
Requirements:
- Active RN license (GA)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of critical care/ICU and hospital experience
- Minimum 1 year of Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Ability to assess patients quickly in emergency situations in a stressful environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
- Team, detail, and goal-oriented
- Positive, professional, and empathetic demeanor
Shifts Available:
- Day shift: 7 am - 7:30 pm
- Night shift: 7 pm - 7:30 am ( shift differentials!)
