Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)- PRN
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) are responsible for treating patients with therapeutic and self-care activities based on the physician and provider orders. COTA helps patients improve their quality of life by finding solutions to their problems, improving their motor skills needed for daily living activities. Occupational Therapy Assistants work alongside licensed Occupational Therapists as they treat patients with limited mobility. An Occupational Therapy Assistant closely records the treatments for patients, often coordinating occupational therapy with other types of therapeutic activities within a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
Shifts / Hours : This is a PRN day shift position
Requirements :
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant degree
- Active and unrestricted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Licensure
- Current BLS certification
- 1 year of COTA experience, Hospital experience preferred
