Landmark is seeking a dynamic Regional Director of Operations who is an experienced leader and passionate about building winning teams. This position will ensure execution at the highest levels of hotel operations and be an integral part of the leadership team including project management, operational excellence, performance support, service training and other related operational areas.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead operational oversight of a portfolio of hotels
- Promotes company's policies and philosophies to associates through direct and indirect interaction
- Oversight of all financial aspects of each hotel in portfolio: P&L, CapEx, Forecasting and Budgeting
- Ensures operational excellence for all hotels in portfolio; provides support, critique and guidance to hotels having challenges meeting brand standards and/or company expectations
- Ensure brand QA Compliance/Performance and approving action plans generated by hotel
- Acts as liaison between hotel General Manager and company discipline leaders, including but not limited to: Sales and Marketing, Finance, HR, Learning, Facilities, PR, Revenue Management and Owner Relations
- Supports and provides guidance on company culture and values
- Selects, develops, leads and mentors management team members
- Guides, develops and implements policies, procedure and systems to improve business operations
- Provides leadership and direction to annual marketing plans
- Additional duties and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the hotel industry
- General Manager experience required
- Experience in multi-unit leadership strongly preferred
- Sales and Revenue Management experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivated, self-starter with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to shift and manage multiple priorities
- Results driven focus and ability to work through to completion in a timely manner
