Core Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
- Handle inquiry calls according to departmental procedures.
- Qualify room space requests by obtaining pertinent information required and transfer caller and information to the Director of Sales.
- Make telephone calls to specified individuals as requested by the Director of Sales.
- Greet all individuals arriving at offices courteously and assist with their needs.
- Contact Manager and inform of client arrival.
- Document and maintain appointment calendar for Director of Sales.
- Maintain accurate trace files and communicate daily traces to Director of Sales.
- Establish and maintain filing system procedures; prepare new client files.
Qualifications:
- Commensurate or transfer skill set is primary importance
- Previous hotel experience in front desk position with strong interest in sales preferred
- Good attitude and work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
