Snow Removal Foreman
Seeking experienced operators! This is a seasonal position specifically designated for snow and ice removal operations from approximately October 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025. This role is on-call; all hours are based on weather conditions and the needs to service our clients. 24/7 availability is necessary outside of approved time off to respond to emergency and non-emergency snow service needs.

Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility is the execution of snow and ice removal, including plowing through the use of various snow removal equipment and the application of chlorides and salt under supervision.
- Performing light mechanical work, routine maintenance, and equipment repairs on vehicles and equipment used for the above tasks with the support of our fleet mechanics.
- 24/7 On-call availability for winter snow and ice removal as well as other emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Maintains activity records and generates reports as necessary through use of digital platforms.
- This role encompasses a variety of tasks, and employees may not regularly perform all duties listed; this list serves as an illustrative reference.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two to three years of urban plowing experience preferred.
- Two to three years of heavy equipment and power tool operation experience preferred.
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with Air Brake endorsement is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Effective communication with co-workers and supervisors.
- Demonstrated reliability in attendance with flexibility for extended hours, particularly during adverse weather conditions.
- Cell phone with text messaging, email, and application capabilities.
- Ability to move or lift heavy objects.
Full-time, year round positions with benefits may be offered to individuals who successfully complete the 2024-2025 winter season.
