Landmark Hospital of Savannah is looking for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team.
We offer flexible full-time hours, mostly weekdays, with an occasional weekend or night shift coverage.
What will I be doing as an HR coordinator?
Build on your Human Resources fundamental skills as you focus all the day to day activities in the employee life cycle :
- Recruiting, hiring, onboarding
- Hours and payroll validation
- 90 & annual reviews processing
- Tracking licenses, training, and other requirements
- Employee separation processing
- Employee engagement events planning & execution
- Unemployment & Workers compensation reporting / response
- Leave coordination
- General HR and administrative support for the leadership team
While the emphasis of this role is on HR transactions and coordination of various HR tasks, the HR Coordinator also is a focal point for planning and preparing employee engagement events, recognition, and training. Assignments and scope will expand as your experience grows! While you may be the only HR representative at the location, you will not be alone. We have an experienced team of HR professionals across our health system that support each other, establish standards and share best practices. Our Human Resources team will support the new hire while they gain valuable hands-on HR experience in the dynamic healthcare industry. In addition to the HR team, the HR Coordinator collaborates with the Hospital leadership team on a daily basis to support both the business and employee needs. This is an interactive, interpersonal, & engaging environment for an HR professional. We have many special projects planned to keep the day "interesting". Come grow with us!
What does it take to be on our HR team?
Awareness of law laws including FLSA, FMLA, NLRA, ADA, etc. - with the ability to research and leverage other team members for complex situations
