As an Accountant II – Financial Reporting, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. Your responsibilities will focus on financial reporting, grant oversight, and collaboration with project managers.

- Prepare, review, and process financial documents for accurate reporting in the general ledger.
- Maintain balance sheet accounts and monthly schedules.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements on a quarterly basis.
- Reconcile accounts receivable subledgers to the general ledger.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required by state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers on financial status updates.
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting.
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Focus in Accounting, Finance or relevant field preferred.
- CPA License preferred.
- Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and databases.
- Demonstrated experience leading accounting and financial close processes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel user who understands and applies advanced Excel features.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills as you work to deliver results internally across the organization.
- Proactive attitude geared towards efficiency and improvement of processes as company and responsibilities grow.
