Fund Financial Reporting Manager
As a Fund Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the consistency and accuracy of financial reporting, engaging with executive management, investment partners and auditors. You will oversee quarterly fund accounting and reporting, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reporting for our primary investment partners, manage capital calls and draws, draft consolidated financial statements and footnotes, manage REIT compliance, and provide strategic insights to senior management.

- Manage the preparation of monthly property, joint venture and consolidated and fund financial statements.
- Develop and enhance internal processes and controls to ensure the proper production, distribution and recording of capital and lending transactions
- Monitor fund nav pricing to ensure proper accounting and reporting.
- Manage calculation of incentive and promote payments in accordance with applicable agreements.
- Manage financial statement auditors as the key liaison between Landmark and the audit teams.
- Ensure consistent and accurate investor reporting.
- Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Own the process to ensure timely distributions to shareholders on a quarterly basis.
- Maintain file systems used for tracking all equity transactions and audit documentation
- Provide ad hoc financial reports, tables, exhibits as requested. Review distribution calculations.
- Engage with tax professionals to ensure consistency and compliance with REIT requirements.
- Develop action plans and propose efficiency improvements.
- Maintain organized records for audit purposes.
- Work closely with other team members and department heads.
- Communicate and respond effectively to executive management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation or real estate accounting.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, CPA preferred; focus in accounting, real estate, finance or relevant field preferred.
- Experience with real estate, tiered entity structures and consolidation
- Ability to read and interpret legal documents and agreement language.
- Independent, self-starter, team player, analytical and attentive to detail.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills as you work to deliver results internally across the organization.
- Proactive attitude geared towards efficiency and improvement of processes as company and responsibilities grow.
