Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Makes sure all rules and regulations related to the execution of operational duties are adhered to, consulting the environmental manager as required by the relevant permit or certificate.
- Reviews maintenance schedules every week.
- Minimizes the frequency or severity of accidents of maintenance personnel and contractors by identifying risks.
- Assigns and reviews work for maintenance technicians.
- Makes sure maintenance jobs are carried out according to the highest standards of efficiency.
- Maintains schedule priority and compliance.
- Ensures prompt repairs are done in times of emergency breakdowns.
- Streamlines associated job execution and repair costs.
- Submits reports regarding repair jobs, which include consumption of man hours, materials, tools and skills.
- Ensures that recorded histories in work order completions are accurate.
- Offers grievance counseling when necessary.
- Makes sure that maintenance work is performed in accordance with all government regulations and corporate policies.
- Assigns and reassigns work as per priorities and emergencies.
- Ensures quality-of-work, productivity, and housekeeping standards are maintained
- Investigates provides, and implement corrective measures for all safety incidents, including near misses.
- Strives to achieve almost 100% reliability on all jobs related to maintenance.
- Is responsible for the reliability and maintenance of all equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-year maintenance experience, apartment/building maintenance experience preferred or relevant experience
- Universal HVAC certification required
- Display proficiency while performing day-to-day tasks, preventative maintenance, and work orders
- Must be team-oriented, dependable, resourceful, flexible, and results-driven
- Must be well organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
