Landmark Vacation Rentals, a premier short-term rental vacation management company, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic General Manager to join our team. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties and team, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our guests, staff, and clients. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site appointments with potential clients to close deals and onboard new properties into our management portfolio. Present the value proposition of Landmark Vacation Rentals and build strong relationships with property owners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive guest experience from booking to checkout.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of all properties, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure all properties are in top condition.
- Create and manage property listings on Airbnb and other platforms, ensuring accurate descriptions, high-quality photos, and competitive pricing.
- Monitor and manage bookings, availability, and pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Monitor guest reviews and feedback, addressing any issues and implementing improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all properties comply with local regulations and Airbnb policies, including safety standards and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote properties and attract guests through various marketing channels.
- Oversee and manage the performance of an administrative assistant, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively to support property management operations.
- Generate and analyze performance reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement to senior management.
- Create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to continue to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, hospitality, sales, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in property management software and online booking platforms.
- Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements.
- Sales skills with a proven track record of closing deals and client onboarding.
