What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager position at Landmarque National?
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations:
- Advertise and fill vacant lots or homes.
- Screen prospective tenants, process applications, and execute lease agreements.
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly.
- Enforce lease terms and community rules to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Handle lease renewals and terminations as needed.
Property Maintenance & Inspections:
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure homes, common areas, and facilities meet safety and quality standards.
- Work with contractors and vendors for property upkeep and improvements.
Financial & Administrative Duties:
- Collect rent, deposits, and other fees in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate financial records and generate reports as needed.
- Prepare budgets and control expenses to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing laws and regulations.
Community Management & Compliance:
- Foster a positive community environment by organizing events and addressing resident concerns.
- Ensure the property complies with health, safety, and zoning regulations.
- Handle disputes and evictions in accordance with legal procedures when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in property management, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of property laws, leasing regulations, and fair housing laws.
- Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and record-keeping.
- Ability to handle maintenance coordination and vendor relationships.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
