Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Steel Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Landoll Corporation. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for operating semi-automatic and robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality steel products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MIG welders and other welding equipment to fabricate steel parts and assemblies
- Set up and maintain welding equipment, including control of gas flow rates, amperage, and voltage settings
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing consumables and welding guns/leads
- Load and operate weld fixtures, and complete simple shop math calculations
- Use plasma cutting equipment, air-arc gouging, and oxy-fuel cutting equipment as needed
Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required
- 3 years of experience in MIG welding and fabrication
- Ability to pass a welding test and lift 60 pounds
- Strong understanding of welding processes, safety procedures, and quality control measures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
