We’re looking for the next Senior Director of Marketing and Communications (Contract) for a healthcare-focused association in the Denver area. In this executive role, you’ll bring your top-notch leadership skills and marketing experience to steer the team and the function within the organization. You’ll also bring fresh ideas and innovative marketing techniques and technologies, as well as the ability to lead their implementation.
Job: This is a 40-hour/week, W2 contract engagement that is expected to go through 2025.
Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO
What You’ll Do
- Develop the overall marketing strategic vision and accompanying objectives consistent with business goals.
- Present vision and strategies clearly and persuasively to executive leadership.
- Manage the following functions underneath the marketing umbrella: Creative Services, Digital, B2B & B2C Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Email Marketing as well as media relations, and Board training.
- Lead the Marketing department in creating integrated marketing plans for all existing audiences and new targets.
- Utilize strong skills in leadership and management to develop the Marketing Department as a best-in[1]class marketing team.
- Collaborate with business leaders and executives in new product/program strategies and development across the enterprise.
The Quals You’ll Need
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a marketing management role with demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring and developing staff.
- Experience overseeing brand marketing, B2B product marketing, digital, social media, communications, and public/media relations.
- Experience in healthcare marketing, preferably in marketing for healthcare facilities or medical devices.
- Fundamental knowledge of both B2B and B2C marketing principles.
- Direct involvement in identifying new ways to build revenue streams in both non-dues and membership revenue.
- Unparalleled communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to nurture trusting relationships across all parts of the organization.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field.
