Accounts Payable Representative -Analytics/Reporting
A well-established company in Gonzalez, Florida is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Representative to relay the most positive and professional image possible. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel experience, analytical skills and invoice experience to be a vital part of this supportive company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to AP – provide management and analytic reporting.
- Bi-weekly reviews of pending invoices to identify approvers that are no longer in the system and reroute to correct approvers
- Troubleshoot aged goods receipts with no invoice receipt
- Accurately process ~50-100 invoices daily (depending on the other tasks being performed)
- Resolve invoice discrepancies
- Vendor statement review and reconciliation
- Be able to identify system problems and invoice discrepancies and follow up with resolution
- Establish and maintain an excellent working relationship with suppliers, team members and other departments (Procurement & Receiving)
- Validate and update vendor information in Vendor Master as needed
- Back up other AP Team members
- High School Degree
- AA Degree, Accounting Preferred
- Requires strong attention to detail
- Accounts Payable Experience – preferred, not required
- SAP/Readsoft Experience – preferred, not required
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong communication skill: ability to interface effectively with suppliers and internal customers
- Must be able to multitask
- For this position, starting pay is $25-27/hour
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Contract position
