What you’ll be doing to make an impact:
- Monitoring healthcare claims to ensure timely processing
- Gather medical records to send for review
- Work weekly outstanding AR reports
- Read and understand medical policies
- Work all health care claim denials
- Complete patient appeals when necessary
- Reviewing medical records for medical necessity
- Review patient accounts for adjustments and/or refunds
- Take incoming billing calls from patients
What you’ll bring to the table:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of prior physician office billing experience is required
What’s in it for you:
- For this position, starting pay is $17.50-20/hour
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
