What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Operations Analyst position at Lands' End?

As a Product Operations Analyst, you will work to support business adoption of changes and processes that impact and improve day-to-day workflow. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, along with the ability to problem-solve, anticipate needs, and balance competing priorities while simultaneously maintaining accuracy and quality of work. Facilitating communication between cross-functional groups is critical, as well as a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Own the creation, communication, and ongoing maintenance/updates for the Seasonal Time to Market Calendar; publish to internal and external stakeholders prior to season start; provide continuous visibility to critical Milestones and deadlines throughout the process.
  • Facilitates key cross-functional meetings, including agenda creation, meeting material consolidation, executive summaries, and follow-ups on key action items with appropriate business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Identify and maintain milestone charter updates, including inputs, outputs, expectations, and attendee requirements as well as SharePoint maintenance.
  • Builds strong relationships with cross-functional teams and assists in reinforcing business processes and workflows.
  • Leverages structured methodology for coordinating organizational change management efforts.
  • Supports the implementation and execution of workflow optimizations that deliver operational efficiencies with positive impact to the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to established change management processes.
  • Supports training initiatives to ensure business acceptance and change adoption.
  • Communicates changes, updates, and new solutions to impacted stakeholders and project teams.
  • Survey business teams to understand pain points in current processes or areas. Ability to listen, question, organize, define the who, when, why, all while being impartial to any one area.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Apparel/Retail Merchandising, Project Management, Data Analytics, or related field. 1-3 years of specialty retail experience; multi-channel brand experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
  • Proficient excel, Teams, Office 365, PLM, SharePoint, and related skills preferred.
  • Solution-oriented; able to see and understand interdependencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff, at all levels, including third parties.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize independently in a highly competitive and fast paced environment.
  • Initiative-taking with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to set and meet objectives, as well as adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Must be highly organized, with meticulous diligence, and proven ability to multi-task.
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence.
