We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team for the 2025 season. This is a full-time seasonal position, starting in mid-to-late March. As an Irrigation Technician, you will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and troubleshoot irrigation systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance, including adjustments, replacements, and repairs of sprinkler heads, valves, timers, and pipes.
- Conduct system start-ups in the spring and winterization in the fall.
- Evaluate water usage and recommend system improvements for efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues, such as leaks, electrical malfunctions, or low water pressure.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Interact professionally with clients to explain system issues and provide solutions.
- Previous experience working as an Irrigation Technician is required.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Ability to use tools and equipment related to irrigation work.
- Understanding of irrigation system programming and scheduling.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Full-time seasonal position starting mid-to-late March and lasting through the fall.
- Workdays may include early mornings and occasional weekends, depending on the job schedule and weather conditions.
