Construction Laborer

The LandTek Group has been a leading company in constructing athletic fields for professional stadiums, colleges, parks, and school districts in the mid-Atlantic region for over 30 years. We have worked on various projects ranging from professional sports teams to little league fields.

The LandTek Group Inc. is currently hiring Laborers in Eastern Pennsylvania. This is a full-time position with benefits including Medical, dental, vision, life Insurance, 401k, and a PTO package after the 60-day probationary period.

Most job sites are in Eastern Pennsylvania. Applicants must have reliable transportation. Working hours are 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

THE MAJORITY OF OUR WORK IS PREVAILING WAGE WITH PREVAILING WAGE RATES. Private Jobs will be paid at a private rate negotiated upon hire of $25-$30 per hour.

Move soil, equipment, and materials, dig holes, and assists supervisors and operators in landscaping grounds by performing the following duties.

· General Construction duties

· Regional travel is mandatory

· Safe use and maintenance of all tools and equipment

· Effective on use of power tools and equipment

· Clearing site debris

· Loading materials for transport; transporting and stocking materials. Rigging and signaling

· Controlling vehicular traffic moving through construction projects by placing traffic control signs and markers or barricades according to plans, directing traffic and pedestrians through the site using hand and flag signals and informing drivers and pedestrians to detour routes

· Recognition of hazardous materials

· Cleaning site area

· Signaling operators of heavy equipment

· Performing backfill and compaction operations, using manual or power tool methods

· Erecting variety of temporary protective fencing, such as snow fencing

· Placing topsoil to finish grade, using such hand tools as shovel or rake

· Installing, maintaining and using watering equipment

· Applying fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, herbicides and other such materials; maintaining safety and clean up precautions

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
