The LandTek Group has been a leading company in constructing athletic fields for professional stadiums, colleges, parks, and school districts in the mid-Atlantic region for over 30 years. We have worked on various projects ranging from professional sports teams to little league fields.
The LandTek Group Inc. is currently hiring Equipment Operators in Eastern Pennsylvania. This is a full-time position with benefits including Medical, dental, vision, life Insurance, 401k, and a PTO package after the 60-day probationary period.
Most job sites are in Eastern Pennsylvania. Applicants must have reliable transportation. Working hours are 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
THE MAJORITY OF OUR WORK IS PREVAILING WAGE WITH PREVAILING WAGE RATES. Private Jobs will be paid at a private rate negotiated upon hire of $30-$35 per hour.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Operate various types of heavy construction equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, loaders, site trucks, off-road forklifts, graders and dirt compaction equipment
· Adhere to safety protocols and standards at all times, including wearing protective gear
· Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
· Document daily operations and report any issues or incidents to the site supervisor
· Perform pre-operational checks for fuel, hydraulic fluid, and oil levels and ensure equipment is in good working condition (including execute minor maintenance on equipment, including lubricating parts (daily) and adding fluids as needed)
· Read and interpret site plans, diagrams, and maps to plan the best way of completing tasks
· Load and unload construction materials and move them around the work site
· Participate in training sessions and safety meetings as required
· Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
· 5 years experience
· OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
· Valid Driver's License (Class A or B CDL a plus)
