What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Crew Member position at Landscape Hawaii Inc.?
Employees are responsible for keeping the landscape green and healthy by removing weeds, pests and debris while adhering to Company Standards and Safety Procedures. Additional responsibilities include assisting supervisors with checking irrigations systems and caring for company equipment.

Job Requirements:
· Requires frequent lifting of at least 50 lbs. unassisted, to load and unload equipment and supplies from the shop, job site and vehicles.
· Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling and moving equipment on a daily basis.
· Requires frequent exposure to sunlight, dust, dirt and muddy conditions.
· Requires operating loud and heavy (up to 50 lbs.) power equipment for prolonged periods of time.
· Requires use of various pesticides, fertilizers and slug baits.
· Requires standing and walking for approximately 6 to 8 hours per work day.
EQUIPMENT USED:
Self-propelled mowers, riding mowers, weed-eaters, stick edgers, hedge trimmers, chain saws, hand held and backpack blowers, pole pruners, hand pruners, shovels, picks, rakes, dust pans, hand and push spreaders, backpack sprayers and various other miscellaneous manual hand tools.
WORK HOURS:
6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. with paid 15-minute break in a.m. and 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Monday-Friday and/ or as needed for Saturdays
Landscape Hawaii Inc. operates under a drug-free work environment, you will be required to take a pre-employment drug screening and will be subject to random drug tests.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
