LMP, a Juniper Company, is Growing! We are seeking Tree Technicians for our Tree Care teams. Our Tree Technicians perform work on the ground and support the Climbing Arborists to help preserve and care for trees in urban and residential areas. LMPs Tree Technicians are entry level positions for people who enjoy working outdoors and have an interest in tree care, with a focus on safety and quality of work. No prior tree care experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Performing tree care work on the ground using chainsaws, skid steers, and other machinery
- Working with a small team to ensure tree care projects follow specifications
- Moving debris, throwing lines, and setting ladders to support the aerial workers
- Maintaining a high level of focus on safety procedures and safety awareness
- Communicating with the Arbor Manager on project details
- Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform tree care duties
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Skills:
- Valid US driver's license (or equivalent) and meet Motor Vehicle Record verification requirements
- No previous tree care experience required
- Strong focus on safety
- Self-motivated and possessing leadership qualities
- Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
- Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
- Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
