Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive landscape designs for various projects, including residential.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and MicroStation to create detailed plans and presentations.
- Conduct site assessments to analyze environmental conditions and determine design feasibility.
- Create sustainable design solutions that promote environmental stewardship and biodiversity.
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape projects.
- Oversee landscape maintenance plans to ensure the longevity and health of designed spaces.
- Present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback into final designs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to landscape architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhinoceros 3D, and ArcGIS is essential.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles as they relate to landscape architecture is preferred.
- Experience in sustainable design practices and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with hardscape design elements and construction estimating processes is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design ideas clearly to clients and team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of design work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
