Major Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Drive growth through new client acquisition.
- Develop, estimate, and close commercial maintenance contracts.
- Establish strong relationships with operations personnel to ensure customer needs are met.
- Develop regional contacts and professional network.
- Use and maintain a structured sales process and CRM reporting system.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Significant sales or business development experience with commercial services industries (e.g., enterprise security, heavy equipment rental/sales, commercial cleaning or catastrophe clean-up, commercial property sales or pest control) or other business to business situations.
- Proven ability to manage contracts and negotiate contract terms
- Strong relationship building capabilities
- Self-driven and self-disciplined
- Demonstrated ability to be a top producer and an industry leader
- Extensive business-to-business sales in a full sales lifecycle environment
- Must be able to travel within targeted territory (occasional overnight travel outside of target territory may be required)
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a proven track-record for business development, building long term client relationships, and meeting sales and revenue goals.
- Be an experienced sales HUNTER, especially in the area of business-to-business commercial contract sales.
- Have strong skills in prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments, qualifying and closing business.
- Take a structured approach to sales.
- Excel in a commission-based compensation structure with high earning potential.
- Comfortable with being held accountable for revenue growth.
