Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance crews and customer relationships for a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts. This individual will report directly to the General Manager/Branch Manager and will have a strong work ethic, enjoy interacting with our crews, sales team members, and clients.
The Account Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of their crews, coordinate with fellow Account Managers on shared resources, ensure customer satisfaction through relationship building and regular site visits, and manage operations based on provided job budgets.
- Manage overall crew operations and coordinate with other Account Managers on shared resources.
- Earn customer satisfaction through relationship building and regular site visits.
- Ensure assigned customers' operations run smoothly based on provided job budgets.
- IDentify required resources for the team and assign individual responsibilities: schedules, crew members, equipment needs, and repairs.
- Be available for crew leaders for horticulture training, equipment repairs, daily instructions, labor conflicts.
- Ensure a safe environment for employees, clients, and the general public.
- Effectively apply Landscape Workshop methodology and enforce project standards.
- Recommend enhancement services to clients to improve site conditions, coordinating with other branch employees to complete work successfully, on time, and within budget.
- Minimize Landscape Workshop exposure and risks on projects.
- Effectively communicate business development opportunities with team members and sales representatives.
- Track and report team hours, extra expenses, and extra sales on a weekly basis.
- Facilitate client meetings effectively.
- Conduct regular status meetings with crew leaders.
- Estimate jobs when needed.
- Follow up on proposals generated.
- Oversee care and maintenance of equipment.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience managing landscape maintenance crews and interfacing with customers.
- Proficiency with computer software programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A strong work ethic.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year program is preferred.
