Position Summary:
The Sales Consultant generates and closes new business and develops design quotes. This position also sits on the leadership team and, currently, manages the IT consultant and budget.

Responsibility:
- Generate sales leads by leveraging opportunities including assigned leads, B2B ground & personal network
- Develop commercial and residential new business including with builders, HOA & other entities
- Establish relationship with customer leads and refine initial needs assessment
- Initiate design meeting and ensure clear communication of customer needs assessment
- Review and validate design proposal estimate and reconcile to customer needs assessments
- Confirm relevant LMN data is current and accurate including To Do’s and job status
- Manage customer relationship from lead to Production hand off
- Coordinate with designer to create, schedule, and present customer design presentation
- Build out proposals for design projects
- Validate LMN data entered by designer
- Conduct follow-up with designer based on approved design proposal timeline
- Complete professional development as identified and/or assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Business, Construction Management or 1-3 years of industry related experience
- 1-3 years of industry sales experience with high growth $1MM organization
- Valid driver’s license
- Attend Production and Sales/Design meetings as assigned
- Sitting, standing, walking and working at computer for 8 hours
- Navigating uneven terrain
- Working in all seasons and weather conditions
- Lifting, pulling, pushing 25 pounds
