Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Prepare food in accordance with company recipes and health code standards.
- Daily Prep Duties: Handle daily prep duties and food production, ensuring that all products are handled, stored, and rotated properly.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area and ensure that it meets health code regulations.
- Maintenance and Inventory: Assist with inventory ordering, check in stock orders delivered by vendors, and maintain kitchen stock at line stations to ensure efficient kitchen service.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other culinary staff to develop and create menu items, adhere to club dress code policy, and attend employee meetings.
Requirements
- Knowledge and Skills: Must have good oral communication skills, basic culinary skills and knowledge, and understanding of safe food handling procedures and processes.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred, previous experience in food preparation and cooking preferred, and certified food handler (local certification).
