About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our F&B team as a Line Cook. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with company recipes and health code standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Food Production: Ensure that all food is prepared per Company standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Check in stock orders delivered by vendors, assist with inventory ordering, and maintain kitchen stock at line stations to ensure efficient kitchen service.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area and ensure that it meets health code regulations.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other culinary staff to develop and create menu items, adhere to club dress code policy, and attend employee meetings.
Requirements
- Skills and Qualifications: Good oral communication skills, basic culinary skills and knowledge, and understanding of safe food handling procedures and processes.
- Education and Certification: High school diploma or GED preferred, previous experience in food preparation and cooking preferred, and certified food handler (local certification).
