Plans and schedule for day-to-day operation of the Horticultural Department.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Apply general and accepted practices for pruning, fertilizing disease/fungus control and maintenance of residential and commercial properties
- To work and oversee up to 2crew members
- Responsible for paper work, documentation, photographs, client recommendations and scheduling site visits
- Perform estimates and sales to clients
- Assist in Landscape Department as needed
- 5 year experience in landscape maintenance and horticulture or related field
- Skilled in proper pruning techniques and general garden bed maintenance
- Strong knowledge of annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs
- Proper use of both organic and chemical treatment for disease and insect control
- Valid driver's license
- Valid DOT Health Card or the ability to obtain one
- Pesticide and/or MCLP licenses a plus
