What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Organizer position at Landslide Political?
Landslide Political is hiring experienced Field Organizers (FOs) to train and manage paid canvassers and signature gathering staff for exciting 2024 statewide ballot issues.. The salary for this position is $5,500 per month. Payment is on a bimonthly basis by direct deposit.
Field Organizers are passionate, dedicated individuals who are committed to developing a team of circulators by devoting time and energy to recruitment efforts, onboarding, and motivating individuals both in the office and the field. Field Organizers are responsible for investing time in employees and contributing to the overall success of Landslide projects by training new employees, identifying areas of improvement, and coaching canvassers and circulators through professional development. Field Organizers are also expected to help the Regional Field Director track progress to goal, manage internal systems, and keep accurate and efficient records. Field Organizers report directly to the Regional Field Director.

Responsibilities include :
Maintaining a high quality and capacity of signature production with the circulator team.
Coaching and training of the circulation team.
Assisting in management of the daily schedule for work and for training of circulators.
Doing the heavy lifting involved in recruitment and hiring of circulators.
Great energy and attitude.
Exceptionally well-organized, with an ability to meet strict deadlines.
Ability to speak confidently (one-on-one and in groups) and write clearly (e.g. emails).
Frequent regional travel required; access to a vehicle; access to a cell phone.
Disciplined and solutions-oriented approach on all tasks.
Candidates with experience in collecting signatures, door to door canvassing, working with volunteers, and / or volunteering on a political campaign preferred.
