- Conduct research to gather pertinent information on properties, ensuring clarity on relevant ownership and value details.
- Support the acquisition of necessary property rights, handling documentation and coordination with stakeholders.
- Prepare, review, and manage legal documents essential for property agreements.
- Act as a liaison for property-related inquiries, ensuring effective communication and support.
- Collaborate with various parties to negotiate terms, secure permits, and complete agreements as needed.
- Demonstrate the ability to negotiate in good faith will all applicable stakeholders.
- Maintain records of transactions and related documentation in line with company guidelines.
- Assist with budgeting and expenditure tracking for project-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and protocols.
- Coordinate schedules, reporting, and communications to align with project needs and timelines.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Right of Way Agent particularly in research, and document preparation, preferably in the renewables, power, and transmission industries.
- Strong research and analytical skills to gather and assess relevant information.
- Ability to develop and manage professional relationships with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in preparing and handling essential documentation with accuracy.
- Strong communication abilities for clear, effective correspondence with internal and external parties.
- Well-organized, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple aspects of a project simultaneously.
- Attention to detail to maintain thorough records and ensure consistency in documentation.
- Knowledge of budget oversight and ability to track expenditures efficiently.
- Understanding of industry policies and general compliance requirements.
- Adaptable and able to collaborate within a diverse project team environment.
- Posses the appropriate real estate licensing requirement for project work location.
