The Instructional Designer is responsible for the design and development of instructor-led and self-paced training solutions using rapid eLearning tools including Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Captivate, and/or Lectora. You will be responsible for evaluating and maintaining existing learning solutions to ensure all training meets stakeholder needs and internal quality standards. Essential Responsibilities:
The Instructional Designer is responsible for the design and development of instructor-led and self-paced training solutions using rapid eLearning tools including Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Captivate, and/or Lectora. You will be responsible for evaluating and maintaining existing learning solutions to ensure all training meets stakeholder needs and internal quality standards. Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage training project deliverables across all phases of the ADDIE lifecycle, including work effort estimation, risk management, and reporting progress against defined milestones.
- Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to conduct needs-assessments that define specific performance gaps and measurable learning outcomes.
- Design and develop in persona and virtual instructor-led training materials, including presentation materials, facilitator guides, breakout activities, tools, and job aids.
- Design and develop self-paced training materials, including storyboards, eLearning, video, job aids, and instructional graphics.
- Develop and/or curate engaging individual and group learning programs informed by adult learning theory.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and delivery methods to ensure desired learning objectives and business goals are achieved.
- Incorporate feedback from the training team, stakeholders, and learners to develop and continually improve the quality of training materials.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Four years of experience in designing and developing training curricula
- One year of experience in rapid eLearning tools, including Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, and/or Lectora
- Master's degree in instructional design, learning technology or a similar field
- Two years of experience in designing and developing training curricula
- One year of experience in rapid eLearning tools, including Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, and/or Lectora
- Experience developing technical, procedural, and/or contact center training
- Experience developing competency-based leadership and professional development programs
- Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage juggling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to conduct SME interviews and project meetings, make presentations to stakeholders, and communicate with employees at all levels within the organization.
