What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at LANDURA MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATES?
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to serve as a part-time Assistant Property Manager for four apartment communities. This position will require some travel between the properties. This position is responsible for marketing and leasing units, Move-In, Move-Out and Annual Certifications, and/or other tasks as assigned by the Property Manager as well as the Regional Property Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences. Professional presents community and specific apartments while communicating features and benefits.
- Lease apartments according to marketing plan and schedule while maintaining strong customer service.
- Maintain a courteous and helpful attitude.
- Deliver timely and remarkable customer service to all residents and prospective residents.
- Maintains awareness of local market conditions and trends. Contributes ideas to the Regional Property Manager for marketing the property and for improving resident satisfaction.
- Be aware of company and community policies and be able to explain them to residents and prospective residents.
- Follow established procedures to maximize resident satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain accurate resident files in accordance with company policy.
- Resolve minor resident complaints and/or conflicts.
- Collection of all Security Deposits, Rent and Fees. Follow company accounting and banking procedures (Scanned onsite using Yardi Systems CheckScan).
- Process Move-In, Move-Out and Annual Certifications with our Compliance Team using Yardi Voyager and RentCafe.
- Supervising the Maintenance staff to ensure Maintenance Requests and Unit Turns are completed in a timely manner by Company Policy.
- Follow All Federal, State and Local Fair Housing Law
- Process Invoices within the Yardi Voyager system using PayScan (Attaching Backup)
- Obtain Bids, Approval and Supervise Third-Party Contractors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Property Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year experience
- Must have strong customer service skills
· Must be a safety-conscious individual with a good work ethic. "Dependable transportation" and a valid DL are required.
· Be able to Pass the Company Background Check
- Knowledge of LIHTC / USDA RD / HUD property management concepts, practices and procedures a plus.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus
- Basic Computer Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
