As an Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, machinery, and plant systems within the SoyPlus Plant, Elevator, and SoyChlor Plant. You will
- Configure, modify, and test electrical systems in plant.
- Program and replace VFDs (variable frequency drive).
- Install, maintain, diagnose issues, and repair all types of electrical equipment including actuators, conduit, motors, PLCs (programmable logic controller), starters, switches, valves, wiring, and more.
- Recommend and implement innovative ideas to improve equipment and system design.
- Be responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
- Follow all safety guidelines regulated by Landus Cooperative, OSHA, or other regulatory agencies.
