Senior Graphic Designer
Landus is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to enhance our visual storytelling and strengthen our brand's presence. In this role, you will work closely with agencies, consultants, and the marketing and communications team to conceptualize and design captivating graphics for a variety of platforms, including but not limited to websites, social media, print materials, expo booths, and promotional items. Your creative vision will help drive our marketing initiatives by producing visually engaging content that resonates with our audience. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is essential, along with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of design principles. We value innovative thinkers who can transform ideas into visually appealing designs while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Design Creation : Develop graphics for various platforms, including but not limited to digital, print, and social media.Collaboration : Work with clients, agencies, marketing and content teams, and other departments to understand project goals and requirements.Brand Development & Stewardship : Create, maintain, and evangelize the company's brand identity and strategy.Concept Development : Generate creative concepts and artwork based on needs and team feedback.Feedback Implementation : Revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders and conduct final adjustments.Time Management : Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.Research Trends : Stay updated on design trends, tools, and techniques to ensure innovative and effective designs.SKILLS :
Creativity : Strong artistic ability and creativity to generate original ideas, but still staying within the look / message of the brand.Attention to Detail : Strong organizational skills. Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail.Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey ideas and concepts.Problem-solving : Ability to address design challenges and find effective solutions.Teamwork : Commitment to collaboration with agency and / or client staff, and adapt to various team dynamics.The ability to work in a hybrid setting from home and the Des Moines office.A thorough understanding of visual and digital design, hierarchy, information architecture, interaction models, and user experience.Must be able to work in a fast-paced and goal-oriented environment.UX experience a plus.Requirements
Requirements :
A degree in Graphic Design or a related fine arts field is preferred.Minimum 5 years of work experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing design thinking and solutions, web design, digital, tradeshow, and branding.Must be highly proficient in the Adobe Creative SuiteProficiency in Figma and FigJamAbility to successfully present / sell conceptual ideas internally
