Position : Adjunct Instructor of Mass Communication
Department : Academic Affairs
Classification : Exempt
Position Overview :
Lane College is seeking part-time adjunct instructor to teach Mass Communication courses. This is a part-time contract with possibility for renewal. Main responsibility is to teach courses according to departmental need. Candidate qualifications such as but not limited to Intro to Communication, Intro to Media Writing, Media Journalism, Public Communication, Broadcast Writing, Digital Media, TV Production, Audio Production, etc.
Qualifications
Qualification :
- Master's Degree with teaching experience preferred.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in hands-on teaching and have familiarity with Blackboard, hybrid / online courses, and the ability to utilize innovative modalities for delivering course content.
- Ideal candidate will have experience in teaching; Intro to Mass Communication, Intro to Media Writing, Online Media Journalism, Public Speaking, Broadcast Writing, Digital Media, TV Production and Audio Production Courses.
- Requires some walking and ability to climb stairs, possibly sitting long periods of time, ability to lift up to 10lbs. 1% of the times and minimum travel. Some nights and weekends may be needed.
