Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and / or Abilities Required) :
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Human Performance required. (Master's Degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 year's experience required, preferably on the NCAA collegiate level.
- Current standard first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillation (AED) certifications.
- A strong working knowledge and teaching skills in analysis and techniques of strength training.
- Must meet all licensing requirements as required by the NCAA, including certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
- Experience and / or expertise in strength and conditioning programming for high school populations.
- Evidence of ability to interact positively with student athletes, colleagues, and the public.
- Evidence of strong organizational skills and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to walk, stand, or sit for long periods of time and be able to lift a minimum of 20lbs.
- Overnight travel at a minimum of 50% of the time.
