Applicant Notification: | Department Information LCC's Science Department is seeking to expand its pool of part-time faculty with a passion for teaching and content expertise in Cell Biology and/or Anatomy & Physiology. The initial focus of teaching responsibilities will be in BI 112, Cell Biology for Health Occupations, which is the prerequisite to the 3-course Human Anatomy and Physiology series (BI 231, 232, and 233).

Physical Demands/Working Environment: | Work safely in classroom and laboratory settings; may be exposed to hazardous conditions. This position works indoors and is exposed to usual office working conditions that include office noises and interruptions, such as printers, telephones, and visitors. This position requires that an employee be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time; perform computer work in the form of word processing, data entry, spreadsheet work, and web-based research for more than six (6) hours a day. Work involves concentrated mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time. Work may require transporting materials up to twenty-five (25) pounds. |
