Position Purpose: | The purpose of this position is to assist students in learning tasks related to Automotive ASE certification skills. |

Supervision Statement: | Reports to and works under the general supervision of the dean. An instructor or lab coordinator may be available to assign work, provide priorities and troubleshoot problems on a daily basis. Work is performed independently using specialized experience and training. Work is reviewed for the quality of assistance provided. This position may have the responsibility to assign tasks, provide priorities, and train student assistants, volunteers, and hourly employees. |
Physical Demands/Working Environment: | Work safely and adhere to college workplace safety rules and regulations. This position requires that an employee is able to stand and work on a concrete floor for five (5) or more hours/day. Work may require transporting materials up to fifty (50) pounds with or without support. This position works indoors with the shop doors open frequently and can be exposed to cold temperatures. |
