About the Position
This position will be part of the administrative team serving our Adult Outpatient, Child and Adolescent, Forensic Outpatient and Primary Care clinics at Lane County Behavioral Health. This position will provide front reception desk and telephone support in a high-volume clinical setting. Duties will include but are not limited to working in the EMR to: check in clients, answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect and enter client demographic information, manage scanned and faxed documents, accurately process medical record requests, as well as accurately handle cash.
This position will also provide added administrative support to a small subset of the clinic's mental health providers, including meeting note taking and data entry. This position will support individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and would benefit from experience working in behavioral health settings. Excellent customer service skills are a must as these positions work closely with other administrative staff, clinicians and management in addition to clients.
About the Division
Lane County Behavioral Health provides services to more than 1,600 individuals with behavioral health conditions. We work with community partners to provide a continuum of care from prevention through treatment and aftercare in an environment that promotes a culture of resilience and recovery.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm

Education:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
Experience:
- Two years of responsible clerical and office assistant experience;
- Or an equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
