About the Position:
Park Maintenance 2 - The Parks Division of Lane County Public Works seeks a Park Maintenance 2 to help maintain its beautiful Willamette Valley-area parks.
About the Division:
Lane County Parks has over 4,000 acres of rich natural, recreational, and cultural assets. Parks recognizes the value in collaboration and strategic planning. Parks staff, partner agencies, and volunteer groups work together to sustain the diverse features of our parks and to provide opportunities for the public to enjoy them far into the future.
Schedule: Tuesday to Friday 7 am to 5:30 pm with a ½ hour lunch. Shift is subject to change seasonally.

Training:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
Experience:
- Six months of experience in the operation of light equipment or in semi-skilled tasks. Experience working in a parks environment is desirable;
- Or an equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Special Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Oregon Driver’s license at the time of appointment.
- The selected candidate(s) for this classification are required to pass a criminal background check before entering County employment.
