What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician position at Lane County?
The Family Medicine Physician will provide professional, comprehensive primary medical care and treatment services to a diverse population of patients in a public health clinic setting. The Physician diagnoses and treats a wide variety of health problems, provides counseling and referrals for patients when appropriate, and performs related duties as assigned.
The position may have the future possibility to range from 0.8-1.0 FTE (32-40 hours/weekly) and may be eligible for additional bilingual compensation upon completion of a bilingual exam. All candidates are encouraged to apply and explore this opportunity.
About this Location
The West 11th Clinic will offer same day medical and behavioral health services to eligible patients of the Community Health Center. The clinic will help provide access to patients for their acute needs with a focus on overcoming barriers to care.About this Division
The Community Health Centers of Lane County (CHCLC) is a dynamic, growing organization that has been providing comprehensive primary care and behavioral health services to the citizens of Lane County since 2004. We operate six primary care clinics in which we provide a broad array of services to adults and children. We also provide preventative dental services to children in schools, Head Start, and WIC locations throughout Lane County. CHCLC provides services to approximately 30,000 individuals each year, and is a primary source of care for uninsured and under-insured individuals.CHCLC is a Federally Qualified Health Center whose mission is to serve the community by offering excellent care and eliminating barriers to healthcare. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working in a team environment to provide care to a diverse population with the goal of improving the health and well-being of our community.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Training:
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine with completion of a one-year internship and/or completion of residency program in a primary care setting by time of appointment.
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Special Requirements:
- State of Oregon Medical License including dispensing privileges. License must reflect Oregon address by time of hire
- Diploma
- DEA Certificate. Must reflect Oregon address by time of hire -National Board Certification
- NPI. Must reflect Oregon address by time of hire
- Current BLS/CPR
- CV or Resume
- Date of birth and social security number for credentialing requirements
