Job Location: Prairie West Shop - Eugene, OR
Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly
Job Shift: Swing
JOIN EUGENE'S LEADING LANDSCAPE SUPPLIER! Lane Forest Products is currently seeking a full-time Lube Technician for Heavy Equipment. Must be highly motivated, self-directed and willing to work Swing Shift. Regular base pay plus Shift Differential.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Consult with shop foreman/shop manager and read work orders to determine work required.
- Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined.
- Order parts needed for repairs/services.
- Perform basic lube oil and filter services as directed.
- Perform other basic preventive maintenance duties as assigned.
- Legibly and accurately record services performed, time accrued and parts used.
- Inform Foreman when job is complete.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to safety protocols.
- Duties may include cleaning the lube truck.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Attend & complete required technical training programs and schools as required.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Basic Computer knowledge, basic keyboarding skills, and able to read and write in English
- Minimum two years’ experience
- Basic knowledge and skills required to perform preventive maintenance on the equipment
- Provide own basic hand and/or power tools
- Have a valid driver’s license, maintain a good driving record
