What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Education Teacher Assistant position at Lane Montessori School?
Preschool Teacher Assistant needed for classroom of 20 children ages 3-5, 7:30-4:30 Monday through Friday with a one hour lunch break. Position entails assisting the Head Teacher in daily supervision of children, marking the children in and out each day (attendance), monitoring children's work and outside playtime, serving snack, basic classroom maintenance, reading stories, helping children with crafts and daily routines, and other responsibilities as they relate to a classroom setting. Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. At least two years (2,500 hours) documented experience in childcare/caring for children required (this can be verified through a letter of reference or documentation from prior employer). This is a year-round position and begins ASAP. Please email the school if qualified and interested.
