Job Summary:The Guest Services Coordinator | Front Desk is the cornerstone of Lane Park’s guest experience, serving as the initial point of contact for all visitors. This role involves managing reservations, overseeing game schedules, processing payments, engaging with guests to promote services and merchandise, and maintaining smooth operations at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Interaction & Management
- Greet guests warmly and provide a quick overview of Lane Park’s offerings.
- Efficiently identify whether guests are walk-ins or have prior reservations and guide them through the check-in process.
- Provide information about games and activities, upselling where appropriate.
Booking & Game Scheduling
- Utilize the customer booking system to manage all game schedules, including Ice Curling, Duckpin Bowling, and Axe Throwing.
- Monitor game inventory and ensure accurate availability for guests.
- Serve as the control hub for the scoring system when operational, ensuring seamless gameplay experiences.
Merchandise & Promotional Efforts
- Upsell merchandise to guests and fulfill online orders, including preparing items for shipping.
- During slow periods, engage with potential customers outside the venue or canvas nearby areas with promotional materials.
Administrative & Operational Tasks
- Answer phone and email inquiries, addressing FAQs or escalating group/catering inquiries to the sales team.
- Maintain an accurate headcount and payment tracking using the booking and POS systems.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and welcoming.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Familiarity with customer booking systems and POS software (training provided).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic administrative and organizational skills.
