About the Role
The Program Officer will lead and expand the Climate Action program by managing grants, refining strategy, building partnerships, and evaluating impact. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role focuses on driving bold, equitable climate solutions in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage a portfolio of grantees working on climate action at local, state, and national levels.
Conduct outreach, due diligence, and monitor developments to refine strategies and identify opportunities.
Build partnerships with NGOs, policymakers, corporate leaders, and funders to advance program goals.
Represent the organization publicly and convene stakeholders to coordinate strategies.
Manage external communications, including social media, website updates, and a monthly newsletter.
About You
10 years of experience in climate, energy, movement building, or related fields.
Proven success in strategy development, impactful program implementation, and collaboration with diverse communities.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Deep understanding of social movements and environmental, social, and economic justice.
Appreciation for the role of finance in advancing climate and social goals.
