What are the responsibilities and job description for the Varsity Girls Basketball Coach position at Lanesville Community School Corporation?
Job Qualifications:
- 5 years of coaching high school level or above preferred
- 21 years of age
- Valid Driver’s license
- Ability to pass background check
Job Responsibilities:
- Comply with all IHSAA and Lanesville Community Schools guidelines
- Develop and support positive sportsmanship with players
- Develop and build a solid youth foundation through camps and clinics
- Attend coaches meetings, camps and clinics to promote professional growth
- Community outreach and service
- Oversee distribution and collection of uniforms and equipment
- Keep proper records and accurate statistics
- Other duties as assigned by Athletic Director
- Communicate effectively with local media, parents, players and LCSC administration
