We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving growth opportunities within our employee benefits brokerage.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
- Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.
- Prepare for regular meetings with clients to review benefits programs, provide updates, and address any concerns.
Account Administration:
- Oversee the implementation and administration of employee benefits programs (e.g., health, dental, vision, life, disability worksite insurance, wellness initiatives).
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
- Monitor and manage compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Consultative Support:
- Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on benefit plan design, cost management strategies, and legislative changes impacting benefits.
- Analyze client data and industry trends to recommend enhancements and optimizations to benefits packages.
Business Development:
- Identify opportunities to expand services and grow existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop proposals, presentations, and strategies for new business opportunities.
Client Advocacy:
- Advocate for clients’ interests within the organization, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers or benefit providers to resolve complex issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in employee benefits, account management, or consulting.
- Strong understanding of, or willingness to learn employee benefits programs, regulations, and market trends.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
