Guest Experience
Clean Sweep: Oversee QA process so that every room is up to standard, whatever it takes, and making the call to close a room as needed to ensure premium experience
Welcome Home: prepare for every guest, knowing their background, treating the guest like family – and ensuring the team does the same
Own the Issues: all guest complaints or issues come through the GM, even while other managers will handle first response. Ensure full resolution of complaints
House Maintenance
Constant Improvement: repair & maintenance should occur daily, so that the GM manages the vendors and lists associated to those repairs.
Help Wanted: raising your hand as a GM, asking for help from ownership, and following up for the good of the house are key pieces for House Maintenance
Team Leadership
Appropriate Coverage: the GM needs to have the right amount of staff on shift, but within budget expectations. This entails looking forward at demand & planning

Community Relations
Local Leader: the town’s associations and organizations need a strong leader for the house, and the GM is that role. This includes attending meetings & local events
Winning Friends: we expect the GM to build relationships with town leaders, vendors, and the overall community to position us well for hiring & any other needs
Financial Stewardship
On Budget: the GM will receive clear guidance on monthly spend, and her forecast & execution within those budgets is essential for house success
Integrity Always: the GM must own any monetary interaction such as Tips, Petty Cash, or Check Writing to ensure that all happenings are to expectation
