Lang Pharma Nutrition is a high quality, global private label retail product development company which provides a flexible manufacturing offering and solutions for retail partners around the world.
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Manufacturing Assistant who handles administrative tasks, updates project management systems, and helps to ensure that new and existing Lang products are produced accurately and on time. This role requires effective interaction with all departments within the organization. The Assistant is essential in ensuring the seamless operation of manufacturing efforts and requires a proactive individual with a blend of administrative expertise and a hands-on approach.
This position requires an in-office schedule from Monday through Friday.
JOB FUNCTION AND DUTIES
* Administrative activities for manufacturing operations efforts
- Assist in project management of new partners, new items, and transitioning items
- Ensure project or assigned documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and complete
- Collaborate with key staff and departments to advance assigned tasks and goals
- Create or edit presentations, spreadsheets, flowcharts, and reports
- Prepare bottle fill tests, record results, and disseminate information to team members
- Assist with accurate dimensions and weight configuration for products
- Assist with maximizing pallet configurations for new and existing products
- Manage retailer sample protocol as required for commercialization efforts
- Handle bulk and finished product case labels for partner manufacturers and packagers
- Coordinate department efforts such as internal review of new bulk for approval
- Maintain master packaging file and partner databases
- Monitor and replenish inventory of bottles and caps in Lang warehouse
- Prepare and receive shipments
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor
- Special projects as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)
- Understanding of supply chain and manufacturing functions
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and sense of urgency
- Ability to handle unanticipated situations and navigate shifting priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and efficient with exceptional attention to detail
- Exemplary personal and professional integrity; maintains confidentiality

- Dynamic and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
- Skilled in MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Proficiency or ability to learn Smartsheet and other Lang system software
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, supply chain, or related field preferred
- 2 years relevant experience
- Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
