In this relationship-focused role, the Sr. AM will play a key part in building new partnerships with potential shippers and offering expert consultative services to meet their freight and logistics needs. You will also serve as a mentor to current and new Account Development Representatives (ADRs) while collaborating closely with the VP of Sales to drive business growth and development.

Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new prospects while cultivating long-term relationships with customers;
- Develop pricing strategies for transportation services, including formal RFPs and spot business;
- Stay informed on current trends and market dynamics in the transportation industry;
- Engage in creative cold calling and outreach efforts to attract potential customers;
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions;
- Oversee the entire customer journey, from shipment tendering to successful delivery;
- Proactively address and resolve any service-related issues or concerns;
- Partner with the VP of Sales to support business development and manage both new and existing client relationships;
- Act as a mentor to the ADR team, guiding them on best practices for sales growth and customer success;
- Other duties assigned.
- Minimum of 3 years in transportation-related sales or freight brokerage
- Established network and relationships within the transportation space
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a book of business
- Strong understanding of 3PL, supply chain logistics, and freight transportation
- Passion for building and maintaining strong, long-term customer partnerships
- Proficiency in cold outreach and generating new business opportunities
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and collaboration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Specialized knowledge in a specific segment of the transportation or logistics market
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Previous experience in leading or mentoring a sales team
